Vicente Garcia Jimenez

Born in Valencia in 1978 Vicente García Jiménez graduated as an industrial design engineer at the faculty of experimental sciences at the University of Castellón de la Plana, before moving to Barcelona to take up a position with the lighting equipment and furniture manufacturer Santa & Cole. In order to further develop his creative abilities he subsequently moved to Milan, from where he quickly moved on to Udine. In 2005 he opened his own design office, from where he has realised numerous furniture, lighting fixtures, and exhibition design projects. One of his most important designs is Le Soleil, a pendulum lamp, which he designed and launched in 2009 in collaboration with the Italian designer light manufacturer Foscarini.
