Tokujin Yoshioka
Tokujin Yoshioka was born in 1967 in Kyushu, Japan. In 2000, he founded Tokujin Yoshioka Inc., from where he has realised numerous product design, architecture and exhibition projects. His major creations include the chair Honey-pop, the Pane Chair or the Tofu table lamp as well as the Tear Drop lighting element for Yamagiwa. He also designed the Swarovski Flagship Store in Ginza and some boutiques for Issey Miyake. Tokujin Yoshioka has in addition co-operated with the likes of Hermès, BMW, Moroso, Lexus, Cartier or Kartell. In 2010 the American magazine Fast Company has rated Tokujin Yoshioka one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business.
