B 97 Nesting Tables

The two B 97 nesting tables were developed in 1933 by the in-house Thonet design team and are clearly inspired by the the mid-1920s B 9 nesting tables from Marcel Breuer. In contrast to the B 9 nesting tables, the B 97 nesting tables have, thanks to their cantilever-like construction, an additional opening and can therefore be practically pulled over the edge of an armchair and/or bed. Thonet have now released the B 97 classics, consisting of the smaller B 97 a and the larger B 87 b, which can be used individually or in combination, in a wide varirety of versions: in addition to the classic version, the nesting tables B 97 are also now available as B 97 glass and as an outdoor nesting table set, the B 97 All Seasons.
