Swen Krause
Born in Frankfurt, Swen Krause initially trained as an energy device mechanic and electrician. He completed his training in 1990. From 1991 to 1992 he undertook his technical degree in electrical engineering in Bad Homburg before studying interior design and design at the FH Mainz. From 2001 to 2002 he worked as a screen designer at the Mainz Multimedia Academy and from 2003 to 2006 worked on various freelance projects in the areas of screen design, web design, exhibition concept, and project management. He was, for example, responsible for media-technical support for the exhibition in Andre Heller's FIFA's Football Globe during the 2006 football World Cup. He is also known for his versatile magnetic shelving unit Magnetique, which he designed for Nils Holger Moormann in 2001.
