Søren Rose

Søren Rose began as a creative director at various, and varied, institutions, such as the Casting agency Castit, the web company In2media and the photo archive Trunk Archive. His first design project was the MILK table for Holmris in 2007 and in 2008 he opened Søren Rose Studio. In his work Søren Rose attaches great importance to the use of sustainable materials and a healthy combination of traditional and innovative craftsmanship. Søren Rose himself describes his philosophy as follows: "It's all about the detail and quality. This way the products will live a lot of times." In addition to his office in Copenhagen, Søren Rose also has a base in New York and has worked for numerous international clients, including Muuto, for whom he designed the Reflect Drawer and the Reflect Sideboard. Søren Rose is also a permanent jury member of the Danish Design Awards.
