Shane Schneck
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Shane Schneck studied architecture in Miami, Oxford and Ohio, before he joined Piero Lissoni's team in Milan in 1999, where he worked as a senior industrial designer. In 2010 Shane Schneck founded Studio OfD "Office for Design" in Stockholm, and from where he creates simple and innovative products with his designer team. Following the ideal of realising stylish everyday objects that make you happy every day, Schneck has cooperated with major manufacturers, such as Hay, Kartell, Fritz Hansen and Muuto. For Hay, Shane Schneck designed the Bowler Table, a refined and compact side table. With his design in the Scandinavian Design tradition he has won several iF Awards (2009), the Bruno Mathsson Award (2016), the Red Dot Award ( 2017) and the Dezeen Award (2018).
