| Care instructions | Please click on picture for detailed information (ca. 0,1 MB). Pretreatment: Before treating, clean the surface with a damp cloth and, if necessary, rub with a dry cloth. Before the waxing process, the surface should be completely dry. Before applying the wax, sand the surface by hand with a fine abrasive sponge or very fine sandpaper (180 or 240 grit). Stubborn stains can be treated with a dirt eraser. (Note: When waxing furniture for the first time, only apply very little pressure.) Important: Always work in the direction of the wood grain. Wax treatment: Shake the wax can well before use. Put some wax on the sponge and rub the surface in the direction of the grain. Apply the wax evenly, regularly waxing the sponge as you work. Treat all surfaces (including undersides, furniture legs, etc.) so that the wood can dry evenly, does not warp or form cracks. Post-treatment: Give the wax time to soak and dry (at least 6 hours). If the surface of the treated furniture appears too greasy, you can sand the surface with the fine sanding sponge in the direction of the grain. For subsequent cleaning, first rub the surface with a damp and finally with a dry cloth. |
