Designed by Harrit & Sørensen A/S for the Danish manufacturer LoCa, Knax lodret is a wall-mounted coat rack in a minimalist style, yet which stands very much in the finest traditions of Scandinavian design. With the Knax coat rack the four hooks are made of aluminium, can be folded in and out as required yet when not required disappear into the wooden bar thus ensuring a purist look in any space. The particular about the LoCa Knax lodret is that the coat rack is mounted vertically on the wall, a decision which seems rather unconventional for the storage of jackets and coats: yet which in practice makes perfect functional sense. And ultimately give LoCa clothes rack its name: "lodret" is the Danish word for "vertically". In addition to the lodret the LoCa Knax product series comprises further clothes rack, including a horizontal variant.
