According to the philosophy of the Munich design manufacturer ClassiCon "True quality stands the test of time". A philosophy the German manufacturer proves with design classics such as the Adjustable Table by Eileen Gray, but also through new products, works of contemporary designers that have the potential to go down in design history as design classics in their own right: works such as the Selene hanging lamp by the German Sandra Lindner. Designed in 2006 the ClassiCon pendant lamp is crafted from mouth-blown glass and conforms to an essential basic idea which runs through the entire work of Lindner: the production of an object as one piece. Having personally completed three different artisanal apprenticeships it is almost logical that the production process plays a crucial role in the formation of character of Sandra Lindner's objects. In this sense each of ClassiCons Selene lamps is a unique object which on account of its dreamy transparency sets an individual accent in any space.
