Paul Anker Hansen
The Danish architect Paul Anker Hansen is primarily known for his wooden figure Owl, distributed today by the manufacturer Architectmade. As a child, Paul Anker Hansen was fascinated by those creatures native to his home island of Bornholm. Designed in 1960, Hansen originally produced copies of the Owl for his friends and acquaintances, until the Copenhagen manufacturer Architectmade took over production; and that to the same exacting standards of Handwork as practised by Paul Anker Hansen.
