Muuto Cover Chairs
The Muuto Cover Chairs stand a reinterpretation of the timeless wooden chair and are thus, logically, characterised by their traditional craftsmanship. With its curved backrest and special details on the armrests, the Cover Armchair explores the possibilities of wood veneer in combination with solid wood. The highlight: the design completely dispenses with visible screws, which favours a flawless aesthetic. Due to its outstanding design, the Muuto chair can not only be found in the living room of design lovers, but is also often used for the interior of cafes, restaurants or other public/semi-public spaces. The Muuto Cover Chair was designed by Thomas Bentzen in 2013. Before starting his own studio in 2010, the designer worked with the Danish designer Louise Campbell and is also a co-founder of the REMOVE design collective. Bentzen also teaches at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen.
