The Berlin based design office Murken Hansen was founded by Hauke ​​Murken and Sven Hansen in the spirit of "less is more". Many people have a habit of accumulating many belongings during their lifetime; the duo calls for people to surround themselves with less: but with high-quality and functional things. Their trademark is sustainable products paired with timeless beauty and functionality. For the manufacturer Müller Small Living the duo created the Wingcube Folding Table and the Workout Wall Secretary. Both objects have been designed to save space by minimizing or closing the worktops in no time at all, without sacrificing storage space. In addition Murken Hansen have been awarded numerous awards, such as the Form Design Award, the Interior Innovation Award and, in Japan, the Good Design Award. They pass on their knowledge as lecturers at national and international universities including at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, the Bauhaus University in Weimar and Bahcesehir University in Istanbul. And one can look forward to the coming innovations of the experimental designer duo.
