A common design feature is the visible edge of the birch plywood, which gives the collection a charming recognition value. Felix Stark, the designer of the Plane collection, completed an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and studied industrial design in Cologne before founding his own design office in 2004. His products have won numerous design awards, including the Red Dot Award and the federal award Die Gute Form.
