Mogens Holmriis

Mogens Holmriis developed his appreciation for wood in the cradle: growing up in an established carpentry family, Mogens initially completed a carpentry apprenticeship before studying at the School of Architecture in Aarhus, graduating in 1985 and joining the design department of Trip Trap, today better known as Skagerak. The Skagen series - long-lasting garden furniture with minimalist design, and the Vedia series - elegant yet comfortable teak chairs - are just two examples of how Holmriis transforms his love of wood into furniture. While through his two shops, the designer pursues his second passion: customer advice with special attention to high-quality furniture.
