Matteo Thun

Born in 1952, the Italian architect and designer Matteo Thun was, together with Ettore Sottsass, one of the founders of the legendary Memphis Group. Numerous activities followed before in 2001 he founded Thun und Partners - an architecture and design office that realises projects worldwide. A multi-faceted organisation, Thun und Partners is divided into several subsidiaries, the newest branch, Matteo Thun Atelier, focussing on exclusive collections of furniture, lighting, and decorative objects. For the Italian manufacturer Artemide, Matteo Thun developed the practical and elegant table lamp Select Tavolo.
