The Bombo Stool was designed in 1997 by the architect and designer Stefano Giovannoni for the Italian contemporary furniture manufacturer Magis. Constructed from chrome plated steel and ABS, the Bombo bar stool with its distinctive look is today a popular and regular feature in bars, hotel lobbies and shops, as well as in homes and offices. Thanks to its swivelling seat the Bombo bar stool is a functional and comfortable object as much as it is a genuine eye catcher. The Magis Bombo Stool is available as a height-adjustable version as well as in two versions with fixed height, all versions come in a range of contemporary colour variations. The ergonomically shaped seat shell of the Bombo bar stool ensures a high seating comfort in the finest traditions of Italian furniture design: a tradition which Magis through the intelligent use of modern shapes and materials effortlessly translates into the contemporary.
