The Panthella Table Lamp was designed in 1971 by Verner Panton and today it is produced and distributed by the Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen. As with many works of the Danish designer the Louis Poulsen designer lamp displays a soft organic shape: is however so much more. The idea behind the composition was that shade and base are each used as a reflector, thus providing, and in spite of its size, for a very generous light distribution. Previously designed in many typical Panton colours the Panthella is now only produced in white.
