Eponym of the unique Kvadrat Argali carpet is a Himalayan highland sheep. From the Argali wool the yarns are hand spun before the carpets are hand-woven in Nepal. Inspired by traditional kilims, design director Hella Jongerius uses novel details - such as surfaces embroidered with silk yarn - to make each carpet a unique work of art.
