One of the young generation of Scandinavian designers, Konstfack graduate Jens Fager, has already attracted international attention with exhibitions in London, Milan, and Stockholm, and has cultivated with his product and furniture design a style which, though classic and simple, always has a sense of humour and plenty of poetry. Typically Scandinavian is a good sense for the needs of the people, a particularly critical eye and the desire to leave nothing to chance - all this brings beauty into its products. Jens Fager has already designed several such designs for the manufacturer Muuto, including the simple ceiling light Grain, which is characterized by its extraordinary material mix of polypropylene and bamboo fibres.
