Jakob Wagner
Born in 1963 Jakob Wagner studied design in Denmark and Switzerland before completing various internships in Europe and the USA. Since 1993 he has operated his own studio in Copenhagen. Initially focussing on high-tech product designs in the medical and sports sector, Jakob Wagner has increasingly specialised in product and furniture design and with well-known manufacturers such as Muuto, Hay, Moroso, Montana or Bang & Olufsen. Jakob Wagner has been awarded numerous prizes for his minimalistic and at the same time poetic and playful approach; and his detailed, balanced designs, which reflect every angle and user experience, have been exhibited internationally and are represented, amongst others, in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York.
