Favn is the first collective project by Jaime Hayon and Fritz Hansen. Known principally for the design classics by Arne Jacobsen the Danish furniture Fritz Hansen has began to write a new chapter in the company's history - with the designs of Jaime Hayon. The Spanish born designer is one of the more interesting contemporary furniture designers and one who can hold up his head in a direct comparison with the great Jacobsen: Hayon's work such as Ro or Fri more than holding their own with Jacobsen classics such as the Egg Chair or the Swan. With Favn Jamie Hayon has succeeded in creating a sofa whose rigid shell is very much in the foreground, yet who through the combination of padding, decorative pillows and warm colours is a very welcoming and cosy chair perfect for any space - classic or contemporary.
