The La Petite table lamp by Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli for Artemide belongs, and despite its product name, to the giants of contemporary lighting design. From its broad base a rod of aluminium extends obliquely such that the lampshade appears to float over the room. The clear, geometric shapes give the Artemide lamp a contemporary look and make it a petite masterpiece of architectural lighting.
