The fact that Peter Christian Hertel and Sebastian Klarhöfer have known each other since their childhoods and studied architecture together in Berlin and Venice would appear to be the ideal basis for their professional collaboration. Since 1999 they have been working together in Berlin as Hertel & Klarhoefer, and are now supported by a team of product designers, interior designers, carpenters, and model builders. While the creative, pulsating German metropolis continues to inform the development of their furniture and accessories for international brands such as Bolia, Authentics, Elmar Flötotto or Müller Small Living.
