Grégory Cibert
Grégory Cibert is a designer with a particular passion for nature and natural materials. Born in Lyon in 1984 Grégory studied product design at the Université Technologique de Compiègne and the Luleå University of Technology in Sweden, before gaining professional experience in agencies in Lyon and Paris as well as at the French audio technology company Devialet.
From 2017 to 2019 Grégory Cibert worked as a designer at the French manufacturer Tiptoe, where he designed products such as the Lou stool with its innovative and playful assembly system. The Lou stool with legs made of powder-coated steel is available as the Lou solid wood stool with a beech or oak seat, as the Mini Lou children's stool and in a version with a seat made of recycled plastic. Other successful designs include the SSD chair and the Jo coat hook, which were also created for Tiptoe.
Since 2020 Grégory has been running his own design studio under the name Armand Serafini where, in addition to sustainable furniture, he also designs sophisticated products such as the Bastille bicycle, which thanks to innovative features can be stored quickly and in a particularly space-saving manner.
