With his Konnex shelving system designer Florian Gross landed a major success with and for the German manufacturer Müller Small Living. One reason for the success of Konnex is arguably that Gross as a designer has the ideal training behind him: a carpentry apprenticeship followed by interior design studies before moving on to work in numerous international design studios. Since 2011, he has been working independently with his own design studio in Barcelona, and from where he realises lighting and furniture design commissions as well as interior design projects. Despite his relative youth Florian Gross has already received numerous prizes for his work.
