Founded in 2002 with the aim of producing furniture of first-class quality for the widest possible audience at realistic prices, Hay reflects motivations expressed by designers during the 1950s and 1960s, yet which remains as relevant as ever. And from a formal point perspectives the accessories and furniture of the Danish manufacturer refer to the 1950s and 60s. In addition to projects from internationally celebrated designers such as the brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, young newcomers such as the Eindhoven graduate Lex Pott and the in-house design team also contributes to the Hay portfolio. The result is products such as the Mags Sofa with Récarmière, the Strap Mirror or Dot Cushions in various designs.
