Daniel Rybakken
Daniel Rybakken
Born in Norway in 1984, Daniel Rybakken lives and works in Sweden and has received numerous awards for his distinctive designs. At the beginning of his career, Rybakken specialized in lighting design and intensively explored the daylight and its effects, creating thereby poetic products and installations, full of tension between technical and artistic sophistication. The young designer shares an interest in combining art and technology with the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek, who have been producing Rybakken's 124° mirror since 2018.
