The ClassiCon Munich series, which also includes the Munich Lounge Chair, was originally created in 2009 by architects Louisa Hutton and Matthias Sauerbruch for the Brandhorst Museum in Munich where they are used in the foyer, the cafeteria and various meeting rooms and thus subjected to regular and high volume use. And as such are designed to be resilient and hard wearing. Composed of a wooden frame, a frame made of steel tubing with rubber webbing and polyurethane padding the ClassiCon chair is both stable and robust while the leather covers give the ClassiCon Munich Lounge Chair an added elegance.
