Caroline Voet

Caroline Voet

Belgian architect and researcher Caroline Voet works at the interface between theory and practice, focusing on architectural language, spatial systematics and design strategies. Her research has been published in numerous publications, including international journals such as ARQ and Interiors.

She teaches architectural theory and practice as a professor in the Master's program at KU Leuven. Caroline Voet also worked for Zaha Hadid in London and Christian Kieckens in Aalst/Brussels before founding her own design studio in Antwerp in 2003, specializing in the field of cultural heritage and the design of public interiors.

Caroline Voet also designs distinctive furniture inspired by the poetry of movement, consisting mainly of wood and metal elements. For Peruse she designed the Prelude Bench, an ergonomic bench with a sculptural quality that effortlessly fits into a wide variety of architectural contexts.
