The F51 armchair was designed in 1920 by the then Bauhaus director Walter Gropius for his room in Weimar and has been faithfully produced since 1986 by Tecta. The cubic armchair combines voluminous upholstery with a then novel support structure, in which the armrests protrude freely and the back of the chair does not reach the ground. The F51 Gropius armchair is a must for every Bauhaus enthusiast and comes in a range of colours and materials.
