Among the most internationally successful designers of a younger generation is the English product designer Alexander Taylor. Born in 1975, Taylor has been developing his designs since 2002 and his Fold lamps, for example, have already been added to the permanent collection of Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, New York. Since receiving the Young Designer of the Year Award and Best in Lighting in 2005 Alexander Taylor has seen many of his designs be realised by renowned European manufacturers such as Zanotta, ClassiCon and Adidas. Taylors Butterfly occasional table for Zanotta - the base of which is reminiscent of a flock of fluttering butterflies was also awarded a Good Design Award.
