A. Wedel-Madsen
The Dane A. Wedel-Madsen was not a furniture designer but a technical model maker; however, he still found his place in Danish furniture design history. In the 1950s, he developed a simple hanging lamp made of iron, which was supposed to meet the rather basic requirements of his workshop. Reduced in functionality, the workshop lamp is as perfect today as it was then, and has been reissued by the Danish manufacturer Made by Hand.
